The earnings statistics show Jones Day on $1.11 billion. Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom comes in on $1.088 billion, and is followed by Quinn Emanuel on $1.081 billion. Two other firms come in at over $1 billion – Kirkland & Ellis ($1.053 billion) and DLA Piper ($1.009 billion).

Last year, DLA came top, followed by Jones Day. On this year’s table, Gibson Dunn comes 6th, followed by Sidley Austin (7th) and Latham & Watkins (8th). Freshfields, 13th, is the top Magic Circle firm to get a mention. Clifford Chance, 34th, is the second biggest earner in the Magic Circle. Source: The Lawyer
