Meissner worked as an attorney with Freshfields before she switched to the administration of justice, where she became a prosecutor and later a judge.

Medina joins Baker & McKenzie as a partner and has experience in labor, employment and social security. Avila focuses mainly on social security advice, planning, and litigations. Hernandez has participated in several projects in international law firms while Ramirez has experience advising companies in labor law, aeronautics and human resources.

Norton Rose Fulbright announced that Henri Nieuwoudt, Allison Williams and Rachael Younger have joined the South African practice. Nieuwoudt has mining law experience and will specialize in mining, minerals, natural resources and energy. Williams re-joins as a director in the Durban commercial team and will focus on intellectual property, black economic empowerment, consumer protection and data protection law. Younger has experience advising on business development and marketing programs in professional services.
