Eversheds appointed new partner Totis Kotsonis to its London office Aug. 5. He joins the company from Norton Rose Fulbright where he was head of procurement. Kotsonis is experienced in procurement law, EU state aid rules and sector and utility regulation, regularly advising authorities and contractors.

The firm also welcomed new partner Mark Latimour to the London office on Aug. 26. Latimour advises employers and trustees on all aspects of pension law and specializes in pension scheme investment. This partner move will further enhance the financial services and pension schemes at the company, according to the firm.

Linklaters introduced partner Celyn Armstrong on Aug. 6. He is joining the financial regulatory group as counsel. Armstrong is experienced in wholesale and retail cases and also with investment firm systems and controls and responsibilities of listed companies.

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett re-hired high-yield partner Gil Strauss Aug. 20 fromWeil Gotshal & Manges in London. Strauss is a specialist in U.S. securities laws, an advisor of equity sponsors and an underwriter of high yield-bond offerings who will be working with partners Nick Shaw and Greg Conway.
