Dorsey & Whitney is expanding in China with the announcement of a new Beijing office. The firm opened in Shanghai 14 years ago and will now open a second office under the management of corporate partner Frank Hong.
Hong specializes in inward and outbound investment. He has particular experience in cross-border M&A, IP and international and customs and will be supported by litigation associate Ray Liu, according to the firm.
“Building capacities in China and in the rest of the firm to service in-bound work from China is an important component of Dorsey’s global growth strategy,” Dorsey Managing Partner Ken Cutler said.
