Musat & Asociattii, a Bucharest firm with more than 100 lawyers and advisors, has announced it has elevated four attorneys to the partnership. The new partners – Madalina Berechet, Madalin Enache, Razvan Graure and Iulian Iosif — are former managing associates. Razvan has also been named co-head of the firm’s Tax department and Madalin will co-lead the criminal law practice. Musat & Asociatii has 20 partners.
Name partner and Managing Partner Mona Musat said the promotion to the position of partner is, by far, the greatest proof of trust and the most genuine reward that a law firm can offer to its lawyers.

Madalina Berechet is a litigator with 10 years experience in civil and commercial disputes both in front of Romanian and European courts. Madalina has represented major multinational companies as well as private local companies in real estate and construction, banking, energy and public utilities in all types of disputes including commercial, fiscal and administrative litigations, as well as disputes regarding judiciary reorganization and bankruptcy proceedings.
Madalin Enache is recognized as one of the “rising star” practitioners in criminal law (particularly white collar crimes), representing multinational companies and individuals in various criminal law cases, in areas such as IT and Telecom, banking & finance, Pharma, capital markets, energy and public utilities, etc. Madalin has been directly involved as lead legal counsel in criminal files involving white-collar crime, infringements of special laws, IT crime or corruption cases, as well as legal consultancy to private companies in criminal law or administrative matters, as well as financial and fiscal frauds, corporate miss- administration, shareholder disputes and business litigation.
Iulian Iosif is a business lawyer and insolvency practitioner with 10 years of experience with Musat & Asociatii. He represents a large portfolio of clients advising them in a wide range of insolvency and restructuring matters, including providing comprehensive advice and assistance related to all aspects and stages of the insolvency procedure, voluntary dissolution and liquidation procedures, debts recovery, liability claims as well as procedures for prevention of insolvency. His expertise benefits from his dual qualification as a lawyer and insolvency practitioner, allowing him to act as a judicial administrator and liquidator for various companies subject to the insolvency procedure and conduct various other operations provided by the insolvency laws. Iulian also advises clients regarding restructuring, employment law and general corporate and commercial legal matters.
Razvan Graure is co-head of the Musat & Asociatii Tax practice. He is regarded as one of the most reputed tax consultants having more than 12 years experience, previously working for Big 4 companies. He is specialized in a wide range of fiscal services including tax planning and international efficiency structures, fiscal optimization, VAT refund, identifying potential tax risks, implementing fiscal risk minimization solutions, covering a broad spectrum of industries such as FMCG, retail, automotive and energy. Razvan is a member of ACCA and an authorized tax consultant.
